04 October 2010 - Böhler Edelstahl GmbH&CoKG completed in late September 2010 the largest investment project so far at the Kapfenberg site in Austria with the opening of the new ProForge hall. The company claims that the largest rotary forging machine in the world is housed in the production facility.

MMK Passes Recertification Audit of Environmental Management System

The auditors found that the system meets ISO 14001 requirements, so MMK will receive a new certificate of compliance for another three-year period.

Tonawanda Coke Found by EPA to be Significant Source of Benzene

01 October 2010 - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency had ordered Tonawanda Coke Corp. to conduct testing under government oversight to determine if the company is a major source of hazardous air pollutants under the federal Clean Air Act. Results showed that TCC does meet this definition and that the majority of benzene being emitted is coming from the process area.
