Contests

Each year, the AIST Foundation sponsors three major contests for high school, undergraduate and graduate students:

AIST Foundation Video Contest

This contest challenges students to research the steel industry and produce a three-minute original video that helps to brand the industry as a potential career field. The videos educate young viewers about the steel industry. The contest is open to high school and university students.

Undergraduate Student Project Presentation Contest

Open to undergraduate university students who have completed a project and submitted an application. Applications are reviewed then eight are selected to be presented at AISTech. The topic of the project is unlimited but must be technical in nature.

Graduate Student Poster Contest

Open to full-time students pursuing a graduate degree and who are registered to attend AISTech. Poster subject must be related to the iron and steel industry, properties or applications.
