Techint Goodfellow to Install EFSOP System at SMI Meltshop
15 December 2005 - Structural Metals, Inc. (SMI Texas) has placed an order with Techint Goodfellow Technologies Inc. (TGTI), Mississauga, Ont., for a state-of-the-art Goodfellow EFSOP™ (Expert Furnace System Optimization Process) system. Techint Goodfellow Technologies will install and commission the system on SMI’s 120-ton EAF at their meltshop in Seguin, Texas.
Don Daily Elected 2006-2007 Chairman of SMA
24 October 2005 - The Steel Manufacturers Association (SMA) Board of Directors announced the election of Don Daily as Chairman of the SMA for 2006 and 2007. He will succeed Keith Busse, who concludes his two-year term in February 2006.

01 October 2005 - Techint Goodfellow Technologies Inc., Mississauga, Ont., recently commissioned two state-of-the-art Goodfellow Expert Furnace System Optimization Process (EFSOP™) systems at Posco’s Kwangyang Works in Korea. The systems are presently gathering data from the two furnaces.
