Redaelli Opens Wire Rope Production Facility in Italy

The RHF factories constructed in the dump area of Pohang-Gwangyang Steelworks will use dust and sludge to produce 280,000 tonnes of direct reduced iron and hot briquetted iron.

Startup of Simetal Gimbal Top Charging System at Tata Steel

01 December 2009 - The rebuilt blast furnace ‘C’ at Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur works India has been operating with new Siemens Simetal Gimbal Top charging systems since the end of September. Tata Steel is the first steelmaker to utilize this new charging system on a blast furnace.
