Pacific Steel Casting Closes Doors, Begins Liquidation

10 September 2018 - Although California-based Pacific Steel Casting announced its intent to close in October 2017, an unexpected bump in orders allowed the business to keep going for another nine months. But those orders have fallen, and the 84-year-old operation has now reached the end, reports  local news website Berkeleyside.
