Mexican Steel Group Talks Quotas Instead of Tariffs with Trump Administration
08/24/2018 - The Trump administration reportedly is discussing the potential of lifting the 25% tariff on Mexican-made steel in exchange for accepting an import quota, according to Reuters news service.
According to Reuters, Canacero, the Mexican steel association, was asked to come to Washington, D.C., to discuss a quota in place of the tariff.
