10 November 2004 - Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.’s Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one stock split as well as the reinstatement of a quarterly cash dividend payment to holders of its common shares. A scheduled dividend payment on the company's 3.25% Redeemable Cumulative Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock was also authorized.

Northwest Pipe Announces Major Order

09 November 2004 - Northwest Pipe Co. has received a letter of intent from W.W. Clyde & Co. of Springville, Utah, for approximately $17 million of welded steel pipe for the Point of the Mountain Aqueduct, a project for the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake City and Sandy.

09 November 2004 - The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has initiated a public interest inquiry to determine whether the imposition of anti-dumping duties or countervailing duties for cold drawn and annealed stainless steel round wire from the Republic of Korea, Switzerland and the United States would not be in the public interest.

Ryerson Tull Announces Pricing of Senior Notes

05 November 2004 - Ryerson Tull, Inc. announced pricing of its Rule 144A private offering of $145 million aggregate principal amount of Convertible Senior Notes due 2024. Closing of the offering is expected to take place on November 10, 2004, subject to customary closing conditions. Initial purchasers will have the option to purchase up to an additional $30 million aggregate principal amount of notes.
