Republic Adds Director of Process Improvement

In his new position, Parrish will lead training efforts and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency of Republic's manufacturing operations. He will report to Republic's process improvement steering committee, which is chaired by Thomas R. Fee, Director of Production Planning and Sales Service.
"This will facilitate our continuing efforts to further refine and enhance our manufacturing and administrative processes, which will eliminate inefficiencies, boost productivity and reduce waste," said Fee. "These efforts will make Republic a more capable provider of bar steel solutions for our customers."
Parrish has more than 12 years of management and leadership experience with expertise in lean manufacturing and six sigma processes and methodologies. He most recently served as Director of Lean Manufacturing at the Electrolux operation in Greenville, Mich., and previously was Director of Continuous Improvement at Bosch USA. Parrish holds a bachelor of arts degree from Aquinas College and studied advanced management courses at the University of Michigan.
