ATI Allegheny Ludlum announced a 6% base prices increase for tool steel products, including Hot-Rolled Annealed (HRA) and Econ-O-Miser^™ (Milled and Ground) products.

The revised price schedule, which is available on the Allegheny Ludlum website, took effect with shipments beginning on November 1, 2004.

The company comments that the price increase is necessary to help offset rising manufacturing costs and for capital investments and growth. All surcharges remain in effect.
