        Main Research Areas:

        ・ Fundamental and practical studies on the development of coal thermoplastic properties, coking pressure and coke shrinkage during carbonization.

        ・ Improvement in blast furnace reaction efficiency through the use of highly reactive coke.

        ・ Development of waste plastic recycling process using coke ovens.

        ・ Coal blending theory for dry coal charging process.

        ・ New coal size control theory based on inert size measurement for cokemaking.
