History of the AIST Southeast Chapter

The Association of Iron and Steel Engineers (AISE) Florida District Section was formed in 1980 and was later merged into the Southeast Section, which was formed in 1994. With the merger of AISE and ISS (the Iron and Steel Society) in 2004, the AISE Southeast District Section became the AIST Southeast Member Chapter and included seaboard states from Virginia to Florida.
