History and Purpose

The AIST Outstanding Chapter Growth Award was established in 1996 as the Past President’s Award and changed to the AIST Outstanding Chapter Growth Award in 2004. The awards will be presented to four AIST Member Chapters each year. The awards will recognize the top two chapters in both the greatest percentage increase in membership and greatest numerical increase in membership during the calendar year, for a total of four awards.

Qualifications

Awards will be presented only to chapters in good standing. Awards will be mutually exclusive and no chapter will receive awards for both numerical and percentage increase in the same year. No award will be presented if chapter membership increases are not recorded for the calendar year.

Selection Process

Awards will be determined based on the annual Member Chapter census from 1 January through 31 December and shall be presented at AISTech.

Presentation

These awards will be presented at the President’s Welcome Reception and Dinner.
