History of the AIST Birmingham Member Chapter
The Association of Iron and Steel Engineers (AISE) Birmingham District Section was formed in 1919. When the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers' (AISE) and the Iron and Steel Society (ISS) merged in 2004, the AISE Birmingham District Section became the AIST Birmingham Member Chapter. The AIST Birmingham Member Chapter includes members from both Alabama and Mississippi.
