AISI: March Steel Shipments Up 5% From February

14 May 2015 - The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that for the month of March 2015, U.S. steel mills shipped 7,270,793 net tons, a 5.0 percent increase from the 6,925,596 net tons shipped in the previous month, February 2015, and a 12.8 percent decrease from the 8,337,578 net tons shipped in March 2014.
