Steckel Furnace Project Secured by Olson Industries
05/15/2015 - Olson Industries has been contracted by SMS USA LLC for the design and supply of performance equipment for 2 Steckel Furnaces, including new combustion equipment, refractory, electrical equipment and controls.
The Steckel Furnace equipment is part of SMS Groups Mill project for EPSSN located in Venezuela. The Steckel Furnace equipment will be fully installed onto the furnace hood in Olson’s shop as well as completely tested prior to shipment. The Steckel Furnaces are used to accumulate strip in coil form and to minimize temperature losses.
