02 June 2015 - Based on preliminary U.S. Census Bureau data, the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that the U.S. imported a total of 3,483,000 net tons (NT) of steel in April 2015, including 2,938,000 net tons (NT) of finished steel (down 3.7% and 7.8%, respectively, vs. March final data).
