IISI Reports World Crude Steel Production for April 2007
25 May 2007 - Figures released by the International Iron and Steel Institute show that world crude steel production for the 67 countries reporting stood at an estimated 109.3 million tonnes in April — 7.6% higher than for the same month of 2006, but 2.1% lower than the previous month (March 2007). Excluding China, world production fell by 3.5% compared to the previous month (March 2007), but rose only 3.0% compared to April 2006.
