24 April 2015 - Nucor Corporation announced consolidated net earnings of $67.8 million, or $0.21 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2015. By comparison, Nucor reported net earnings of $111.0 million, or $0.35 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2014 and net earnings of $210.4 million, or $0.65 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2014.

10 April 2015 - Airgas, Inc., one of the nation's leading suppliers of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and related products, today announced that it has signed a long-term agreement to build an air separation unit (ASU) to supply tonnage oxygen, nitrogen and argon via pipeline to Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa, Inc., a subsidiary of Nucor Corporation, at its steel manufacturing plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
