AISI: October Steel Shipments Up 1.6% from September

12 December 2014 - The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that for the month of October 2014, U.S. steel mills shipped 8,508,477 tons, a 1.6% increase from the 8,372,929 tons shipped in the previous month, September 2014, and a 2.7% increase from the 8,287,553 tons shipped in October 2013.
