15 June 2011 - United States Steel Corp. has appointed Lisa A. Roudabush to the newly created position of Managing Director – Product Quality for the company's reorganized North American Flat-Rolled Product Quality Assurance organization. Scott D. Buckiso will succeed Roudabush as General Manager – Mon Valley Works. Both appointments will be effective July 1.
Linde to Build Air Separation Plant for Krakatau Posco Steelworks in Indonesia
15 June 2011 - PT. Linde Indonesia has entered into a long-term industrial gases supply agreement with PT. Krakatau Posco, which is building a 3 million tonnes-per-annum steelworks about 100 km west of Jakarta. Linde’s new plant is expected to be commissioned by October 2013.
