According to a press release, Zekelman will continue to be responsible for organizational performance, corporate strategy and strategic vision. McNamara, who has been with the company for 17 years, will assume some day-to-day responsibilities along with operations, technological advancements and delivering greater value to customers. McNamara will report directly to Zekelman.

Tom Muth has also been promoted to president of Zekelman Industries’ pipe and tube business after serving as executive vice president, pipe and tube division for five years. He will oversee the market segment presidents and support functional leaders while reporting to McNamara.
