Worthington Subsidiary Announces New Drywall Framing System
08/18/2009 - Dietrich Metal Framing and ClarkWestern Building Systems announce their new ProSTUD Drywall Framing System, a new generation of drywall framing technology co-developed to meet the needs of today’s steel framing applications.
Dietrich Metal Framing, a Worthington Industries company, and ClarkWestern Building Systems have announced their new ProSTUD™ Drywall Framing System, a new generation of drywall framing technology co-developed to meet the needs of today’s steel framing applications.
The patent pending ProSTUD Drywall Framing System combines innovative design with high-strength steel to set a new industry benchmark for high-performance drywall framing. System components are lightweight and feature a number of technological advances to enhance stiffness. ProSTUD has also been extensively field-tested for quality and ease of installation.

The partners said the first manufacturing facility conversions for ProSTUD Drywall Framing System will take place in the fourth quarter of 2009.
