Wheeling-Nisshin Announces Organizational Changes
02/18/2013 - Wheeling-Nisshin continues to prepare for the introduction of ZAM® into the American marketplace. In an effort to be better situated for this project, the company has announced several organizational changes.
Wheeling-Nisshin continues to prepare for the introduction of ZAM® into the American marketplace. In an effort to be better situated for this project, the following organizational changes will become effective 1 March 2013.
Art Bertol will be promoted to the newly created position of general manager ZAM® marketing. Art is one of Wheeling-Nisshin’s first employees starting his career in July of 1987. His diverse background includes periods in operations both as a supervisor and an operating engineer, in QACS as a manager and a move in 2008 into the commercial department as a manager of sales. Mr. Bertol was promoted in 2012 to his current position as senior manager of sales. Art has an undergraduate degree from Bethany, a Masters in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and a MBA from Wheeling Jesuit.
Brian Petrella will be promoted to the position of assistant general manager commercial. Brian began his career as an assistant sales coordinator back in 1998. He was quickly promoted to the position of sales coordinator in 1999 and then to an assistant manager of sales administration in 2001. Brian added purchasing to his background when he was promoted to the job of manger purchasing in 2005 and then to his current position of senior manager purchasing in 2012. In his new position, Brian will assume responsibility in the sales end of the business while also maintaining some responsibilities in purchasing. Brian is a graduate of West Virginia University.
Jonathan Deyton will be promoted to the position of supply chain buyer. Jonathan was hired in March of 2010 as an assistant sales coordinator. In addition, he has been working on various ZAM® projects for the past several months. Jonathan is a graduate of Westminster College and is currently working on his MBA at Robert Morris University.
Other ZAM® related moves were previously announced by Wheeling-Nisshin in 2012. These included the appointment of Mr. Takeyuki Nakajima as senior manager - ZAM® marketing and Mr. Takashi Saori as general manager QACS – special products.
