Wheeling-Nisshin Announces Executive Management Change

Noboru "Ricky" Onishi relinquished his duties as chief operating officer but he is remaining president and chief executive officer. Tetsuhiko "Tanner" Okano has been promoted to the chief operating officer position. Okano will hold dual positions, Executive vice president manufacturing and chief operating officer.
 
Okano came to Wheeling-Nisshin in April 2013 from Nisshin Steel as the executive vice president of manufacturing. Prior to arriving at Wheeling-Nisshin, he had more than 24 years of experience in various roles at Nisshin Steel including general manager of the Cold Rolling & Coating Department at Nisshin's Sakai Works as well as positions at the Toyo Works and the Head Office in Tokyo. Tanner has also been tasked with spearheading the ZAM® project at Wheeling-Nisshin.
