Wheatland Tube, a division of JMC Steel Group, has introduced FasTrakTM Plus — electrical metallic tubing (EMT) with a new interior diameter (ID) coating that delivers excellent slip properties.
"Development of FasTrak Plus was based on feedback we received from electrical contractors across the country," said David Burnette, vice president sales — electrical division at Wheatland Tube.
FasTrak Plus EMT’s special ID coating makes wire pulling on small size emt (1/2"–1") up to 20 percent faster and pushing conductor a lot easier. The Plus ID coating is standard on all Wheatland EMT from ½"–4", including Color Check™ and 20’ EMT.
Wheatland EMT is manufactured in Chicago from steel that is 100% made and melted in America. It has a triple layer of protection on the outside diameter (OD), including a galvanized OD coating for maximum corrosion protection.
FasTrak Plus is available now from distributors nationwide.
