West Coast Service Center Starts New CTL Line
03/18/2020 - ANDRITZ Herr-Voss Stamco Inc. has wrapped up installation of a cut-to-length line at a West Coast service center.
In a statement, Herr-Voss Stamco said the line, built for Coast Aluminum’s Kent, Wash., facility, is capable of processing stainless steel and aluminum up to 0.25 inch thick and 72 inches wide. It can handle coils in weights of up to 20,000 pounds.
“The backbone of the line is ANDRITZ Herr-Voss Stamco Inc.’s industry-leading precision roller-leveler technology. The line includes a heavy-gauge Precision Leveler as well as a light-gauge Precision Leveler, both with the Punch-N-Go leveler control system. The equipment is designed to meet Coast Aluminum’s specific product requirements,” the company said.
