Wayne Kennedy Promoted to Managing Director of Haynes International

The Bradbury Group and Hayes International announced the promotion of Wayne Kennedy to managing director of Hayes International effective 1 April 2013. Wayne’s previous role with the company was sales and marketing manager; a position he has held since 1998. Mike Lowe, former managing director for 19 years, announced his resignation in January in order to return to his home country of Australia for personal reasons.
“Wayne has been a key part of our success at Hayes, and we are confident in his abilities to lead in this new position,” commented David Cox, president and chief operating officer of The Bradbury Group. “Mike’s experience, leadership qualities, and business sense will be missed. We thank him for his valued years of service and wish him well,” he added.
“Hayes International is financially strong with a solid backlog of work and an experienced workforce that is focused on providing superior equipment and service to its customers,” noted Bruce Weaver, chief financial officer of The Bradbury Group. “We know that philosophy will continue under Wayne’s leadership,” he added.
Wayne Kennedy commented, “I am grateful for the confidence placed in me and remain eager to advance Hayes International in an increasingly competitive global market.
“Hayes has a long track record of success in diverse international markets and I look forward to building on the platform of a strong management team in a strong global group of companies."

The companies of The Bradbury Group, including Hayes International, are leading manufacturers and worldwide suppliers of rollforming equipment and integrated systems designed for metal-forming and coil processing applications in a wide range of industries.
