Warren Steel Holdings Announces Facility Upgrades and Additions

Warren Steel Holdings (WSH), a producer and supplier of high-quality continuously cast carbon and alloy steel products, announced that it has successfully renovated its existing rail siding and introduced several key new pieces of analytical equipment, including a scanning electron microscope. WSH has played an instrumental role working with the local community to bring life back to the train tracks adjacent to the company, which had been dormant for the past 13 years. With these upgrades, WSH will feature 18 different sized semi-finished steel offerings on its product list and provide its clients with the option of receiving deliveries by rail, enabling WSH to realize shipping cost savings.
“We are thrilled to have these exciting new pieces of equipment and infrastructure added to our facility,” said Steve Clancy, vice president, commercial of Warren Steel Holdings. “Shipping by train is important for both our customers and our overall growth strategy, and we are excited to have a revitalized rail system that can accelerate growth in our local economy. These capital investments will ensure that we can continue to produce and deliver the highest quality goods for our clients with greater cost efficiencies.”
The completion of these strategic upgrades will permit WSH to build upon its already expansive selection of steel rounds to include both rectangular and square billets for its customers’ demanding applications. Taking into account these new capabilities, the company serves a broad range of markets, including open-die forgers, seamless tube and ring rollers, and bar producers.
