Volvo to Use SSAB Recycled, Near-Net-Zero Primary Steels
12/04/2023 - Volvo will use near-zero emission primary and recycled sheet steel from SSAB in a car program, beginning in 2026.
Volvo made the announcement at the beginning of the COP28 climate summit in Dubai, saying that the effort was part of a plan to reduce CO2 emissions per car by 75% by 2030.
