voestalpine Stahlwelt Steel Exhibition to Open
11/05/2009 - voestalpine Stahlwelt, which opens November 7, is said to be a place where people can get to know steel and voestalpine as well as enjoy multimedia, hands-on experiences.
voestalpine Stahlwelt—said to be a place where people can get to know steel and voestalpine as well as enjoy multimedia, hands-on experiences—opens on November 7, on the occasion of the Austrian-wide research night “Lange Nacht der Forschung.”
The exhibition’s fundamental concept is based on the value-added chain. As visitors proceed through the building floor by floor, they explore the areas of steel production, steel processing, steel products, and steel success stories.
The top level focuses on the voestalpine Group itself, and a café above it offers a view of the plant premises.
Beginning November 10, voestalpine’s “world of discovery” will be open six days per week.
