Vietnamese Steelmaker to Stop US$10 billion Project
07/28/2020 - The Hoa Sen Group is withdrawing from the US$10 billion Ca Na Steel Project, saying the proposed mill no longer fits with its growth strategy, reports The Saigon Times.
The project was pitched in 2016 was to have a capacity of 16 million tons per year.
Hoa Sen said it will sell two of six companies that are involved with the project, which was planned for the Ninh Thuan Province.
