Vietnamese Steelmaker Planning New 200K-Ton Rolling Mill
12/09/2015 - Vietnam’s Hoa Sen Group has been awarded an investment certificate for a new US$89-million cold rolling mill in the Binh Dinh province, according to The Saigon Times.
According to the newspaper, the mill, which will make steel sheet and cold rolled products, is to be up and running in 2017. It will have an annual capacity of 200,000 tons.
Construction is to start next month. Hoa Sen is a leading steel trader and manufacturer, the newspaper said.
