The order calls for SMS to supply four 120-metric-ton converters, two apiece for each shop; oxygen lances; converter lining facilities; tilt drives; suspensions; electrostatic precipitator dust collection systems; and the electrical and automation systems. 

SMS group also will provide the engineering and oversee installation, commissioning and employee training. 

The first two converters are to be put into service in 2018. The third and fourth converters are to come on-line in the following year. All told, the two steel shops will be capable of producing 4 million metric tons annually.
