Vallourec Appoints Vice President of Group Communications
06/25/2013 - Vallourec announced the appointment of Laurence Pernot as vice president of group communications.
Vallourec announced the appointment of Laurence Pernot as vice president of group communications.
Previously, Ms. Pernot served as deputy senior executive vice-president of communications of the AREVA group since September 2012. She joined AREVA in 2001 as vice president of communications for the La Hague Treatment and Recycling facilities. In 2006, she was appointed vice-president of communications for AREVA Inc. Based in Bethesda, Md., she had overall communication management responsibility for AREVA North America.
Before joining AREVA, Ms. Pernot served as communications vice-president for the Loire Atlantique region of western France.
Ms. Pernot, 50, graduated from the Sorbonne University (La Sorbonne) with a degree in history and american anthropology.
She will take up her position on 1 September 2013, reporting to Philippe Crouzet, chairman of the management board.
