Vallourec, Evonik Sign MoU for CO2 Transport
06/27/2023 - Tubular solutions provider Vallourec and chemical firm Evonik Industries AG have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop tubular transportation technologies for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS).
Under the agreement, the companies will work together to develop corrosion-resistant CO2 transportation technologies for CCUS. It will allow Vallourec to develop a lining technology for its seamless tubes and VAM® connections using Evonik’s selection of high-performance polymers.
The two companies have collaborated since 2020.
