The MoU is an agreement from both companies that they will “pursue opportunities to develop steelmaking solutions focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions,” according to the press release. This also intends to open a discussion for a potential investment opportunity from Vale into China Baowu’s pilot biochar plant project.
