Universal Steel Co. Names Dolata to Sales GM Position

In his new position, Dolata will focus on directing the outside sales force and further strengthening the company’s relationships with existing customers. He will also be leading the efforts in identification, development and creation of new business opportunities and new product applications.

Dolata, whose career spans more than 20 years in the steel service center market, brings extensive experience in sales and purchasing to the new job. Prior to joining Universal, Dolata was General Manager of Ryerson Cleveland. He also served as General Manager at Singer Steel before Singer was acquired by Ryerson. Dolata will directly report to John Tucci, Vice President of Universal Steel who stated, “Dean’s in-depth knowledge of service center sales and purchasing, combined with his commitment to customer satisfaction, makes him a valuable asset to our team and our customers.”
