United Steelworkers on Strike at Ohio Tube Plant
08/21/2017 - Union employees at PTC Alliance Corp.’s Alliance, Ohio, USA, plant went on strike Friday after a failing to reach a new agreement with management by an 11 p.m. deadline.
"This one's going to be a long one," Brian Carr, a longtime PTC Alliance employee, told The (Alliance, Ohio) Review newspaper.
The plant makes welded and drawn-over mandrel tube.
Union employees at PTC Alliance’s plant in Darlington, Pa., were on strike for about two weeks this spring.
