Union Members OK New AK Steel Labor Agreement
09/23/2019 - Members of the United Auto Workers have ratified a four-year labor agreement with AK Steel Corp., the company said on Monday.
The agreement covers approximately 300 hourly production and maintenance employees at the company’s Coshocton Works in Ohio. The new agreement will expire 31 July 2023.
“We appreciate the work of the Union leadership with our management team to achieve a contract at Coshocton Works,” said AK Steel chief executive Roger Newport. “The new agreement continues to provide a competitive and flexible labor contract for AK Steel and our Coshocton employees.”
