U. S. Steel VP Named Leader of the Year at 2014 Women in Compliance Awards

Folsom was honored for her body of work in corporate governance and compliance.

Folsom was nominated for Compliance Champion of the Year as well as Women in Compliance Award's Leader of the Year, joining nominees from Google, AECOM and Novo Nordisk, among others. Throughout her career Folsom has worked in multiple organizations to transform their legal and compliance programs into gold standards for their respective industries.  
 
Both she and the legal and compliance programs which she has led have previously been recognized by Corporate Secretary Magazine, Inside Counsel Magazine, Ethisphere Institute and the Washington Metropolitan Area Association of Corporate Counsel for their contributions and innovation in the area of corporate governance and in-house legal matters.
 
The Women in Compliance Awards are the first to recognize the achievements and initiatives of women in regulatory compliance leadership roles.  The awards are judged by a panel of senior professionals from the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union and global compliance and regulatory sector.
