U. S. Steel to Restart Gary No. 4 BF
12/02/2020 - With steel demand continuing to rebound, United States Steel Corporation will restart an Indiana blast furnace next week, reports the The Times newspaper of northwest Indiana.
According to the newspaper, the steelmaker plans to bring up the No. 4 blast furnace at its Gary Works. The furnace has been idled since March.
