U.S. Iron Ore Miners Say No Virus Impacts...Yet
03/19/2020 - Minnesota’s Iron Range is bracing for a potential recession, but for now iron ore operations are continuing as they have, reports the Duluth News Tribune.
“We’re still operating as usual,” Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. spokeswoman Pat Persico told the newspaper.
“Right now we are not seeing any changes, but things are very fluid obviously in this situation. We’ll manage it appropriately and make the right decisions to keep everybody healthy and the business as well.”
