U.S. Government Makes Inquiry Into Kobe Steel Scandal
10/18/2017 - The Kobe Steel quality-data scandal has caught the attention of the U.S. Justice Department, which has requested records related to any defective material sold in the U.S., according to The New York Times.
"The company and its subsidiaries will sincerely cooperate with the investigation," Kobe Steel said in disclosing the request.
