U.S. Agency Votes to Continue Trade Case on Stainless Pressure Pipe
07/03/2013 - The U.S. International Trade Commission determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of welded stainless steel pressure pipe from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam that are allegedly sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.
All six ITC commissioners voted in the affirmative.
As a result of the commission’s affirmative determinations, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue to conduct its investigations on imports of this product from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with its preliminary antidumping duty determinations due on or about 23 October 2013.
Petitioners in this investigation include Bristol Metals, Felker Brothers Corp., and Outokumpu Stainless Pipe.
