U.S., EU Remain Committed to Steel, Aluminum Trade Agreement
11/09/2023 - The United States and the European Union are continuing to negotiate a deal on steel and aluminum imports and are hoping to have an agreement by the end of the year, according to the Reuters news service.
"We have given ourselves an additional two more months to solve this and this is our objective," European Commission Vice President Vera Jourova said Thursday to the European Parliament in a debate about the EU-U.S. summit, according to Reuters.
