In a statement, Danieli said it will outfit the 6-strand caster with a variety of its technologies, including its compact mold oscillator, its in-mold stirrer and its electrohydraulic actuator. 

“The existing automation system by Danieli Automation will be updated with additional controls for the new equipment and the new
process parameters set up as required by the added quality grades,” Danieli said in a statement. 

Commissioning is set for the first quarter of 2019.
