TPC Wire & Cable Signs Distribution Agreement in Korea
05/24/2016 - U.S.-based TPC Wire & Cable Corp. has signed a distributor agreement with South Korea’s Broland Korea Co. Ltd., it has announced.
Under the agreement, Broland will serve as TPC’s exclusive distributor in Korea. TPC said the alliance is expected to generate sales growth in Korea and throughout northeast Asia. TPC is a supplier of wire, cable, connectors and assemblies for harsh industrial environments, including those found in steel mills.
“We’re delighted to formalize our relationship with Broland,” said Jeff Crane, TPC Wire & Cable’s chief executive, in a statement. “Broland is the right partner to help us extend the TPC brand into northeast Asia and to better serve our steel and automotive customers there.”
TPC serves customers in 15 countries outside North America, including Chile, Zambia, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, and China. It partners with in-country distributors to market its products and serve local customers.
