Tosyali Mill Project Receives Boost From Angola
08/15/2024 - Angola’s national oil producer Sonangol has signed on to a Tosyali project to build an integrated iron and steel plant in the country.
The project entails reactivation of an iron ore mine and construction of a steel works at the Sacomar Mineral Terminal in Moçâmedes, Namibe province.
Tosyali Group president Fuat Tosyali said Angola’s decision to join the project is a clear demonstration of Angola’s commitment to the project.
“With Sonangol joining the new corporate structure, the Kassinga iron and steel project will gain new momentum,” Tosyali said.
