TMK IPSCO Names Sooner Pipe Full-Line OCTG Distributor
04/04/2014 - TMK IPSCO, the American Division of global pipe manufacturer TMK, announced the signing of a full-line distribution agreement for oil country tubular goods (OCTG) with Sooner Pipe LLC.
“Sooner and TMK IPSCO have had a very long relationship with TMK UP™ premium connections which has proven beneficial to both companies,” said Scott Barnes, senior vice president and chief commercial officer of TMK IPSCO. “Sooner has consistently met or exceeded TMK IPSCO’s expectations, so it is appropriate to expand our association to another level.”
Service is a core value for both Sooner and TMK IPSCO as demonstrated by the companies’ cultures and locations. “Sooner has made brick and mortar investments in key locations where TMK IPSCO has made similar commitments, better serving our customers in regions including the Permian Basin, Marcellus, Haynesville and the Gulf of Mexico,” Barnes continued. “The broader relationship with Sooner will provide excellent growth opportunities for both companies.”
