TMK IPSCO Executives Leaving Company
01/11/2016 - TMK IPSCO president and CEO David S. Mitch has stepped down from his role with the oil country tubular goods maker, the company has announced.
Mitch will be succeeded by TMK IPSCO chairman Piotr Galitzine, who will assume the additional responsibilities as CEO.
“I would like to thank Dave for his leadership and contributions to the company,” Galitzine said in a statement. “My appreciation is echoed by the TMK group.”
Mitch isn’t leaving the company entirely, though – he is to undertake consulting work for TMK, it said.
The company also announced that senior vice president and chief commercial officer Scott Barnes is leaving.
“I would like to thank Scott for his many contributions over the years. We are sad to see him leave and wish him well in his new endeavors,” Galitzine said.
Alberto Vazquez has been named acting head of commercial sales, the company said.
TMK IPSCO is the U.S. subsidiary of Russia’s OAO TMK.
